But seriously, it’s been a nice day so far. I took the day off from work. I’ve been sewing and I finished up the Roman Shade for my friend Cynthia. Every once in a while I really enjoy sewing home dec. All straight lines and no fitting. I hope you’re all having a great holiday week.

Ah, another person plagued with a birthday between Christmas and New Years – mine is the 29th (tomorrow). If only we could discount our real age by the # of times our birthday has been forgotten in the Christmas rush – wishful thinking I fear!

I am so glad you had a good birthday! So did I and I thought of you! My little granddaughter thought I ought to have a cake with candles, but I had to tell her there would be too many to fit on the cake! No sewing on my birthday but one of my presents was a really pretty victorian pincushion. Today I am back to curtains. Have a really good year.
