Here you can see some of the details that went into shaping the form to more closely match mine.
Thanks to age and gravity, my bust point is an inch below that of the dress form (even with a Great Fitting Bra). An easy way to change the bust point is to start with shoulder pads. You can also use bust cups, but these were handy. I catch-stitched them to the padding.

You notice that the outer cover was always handy. We’d do some padding, then zip it on to check it against the progress, take it off and pad it some more. Brute force is a wonderful methodology!

Thanks to some, ah – “asymmetry” in my figure (damned radiation treatments), we ended up doing some creative padding. Using some leftover bouclĂ©, I fashioned a pad and tacked it to the form to fill out the right side.

I still have to finish padding out the waist and hips. I’m not a whole lot bigger than the form, so I am hoping to have it done today.
