This is one of the coolest leathers I’ve seen lately! It’s got a slightly sueded finish, and it looks like mid-wale corduroy. It’s a perfect option for a jacket or separates, for him or her! Want a really cool take on the peacoat? Make it into a cool take on a classic men’s jacket with Kwik Sew 4017. If you want a designer look straight from the runways, make it into StyleArc’s Ziggi Jacket. Don’t want to commit to a full-on leather garment? One skin will give you loads of trim for collars and cuffs. I love it for collars on wool blazers.
Like all leather skins, these may have one or two small holes in them, caused by the skinning/tanning process. This is quite normal and is not considered a defect. You can cut around any of these. For tips on sewing leather, See Ann’s Blog.
