Create your own Body Double! From August 4-6, 2023, Kenneth D. King is coming to Gorgeous Fabrics' Galactic Headquarters in Billerica, MA to teach the Moulage!

In this hands-on 3-day class, you will draft a body double pattern with your own measurements that will be the basis for all your tops, jackets, coats and skirts. Once you have your base pattern, you will sew a muslin torso, which Kenneth will fit, and teach you to alter your draft. Then you will learn how to make a bodice, jacket and overcoat sloper master patterns from your moulage.

The class is 3 full days, with lots of information that will take your sewing to the next level! Once we receive your payment, we'll send you a list of supplies that are included in the class, and supplies that you should plan to bring.

You will need to bring your own sewing machine, or you can contact Ann to arrange a rental machine (there are two loaners available, first come, first served).

This class is open to women and men, age 18 and up. Class size is limited to 12, to allow for lots of personal attention. Class participants will also receive a discount on any purchases at Gorgeous Fabrics (except muslin, notions, and thread) during the class and for a week afterwards.
