This stunning bouclé from Karl Lagerfeld (the company is still going, and still producing Gorgeous designs) has a really cool herringbone pattern that runs from selvage to selvage, and the selvages have a scalloped effect. So I would use a cross-grain layout to take advantage, and set the scallops at the hem. On top of that, it's really soft!
