Oh. My. Goodness!!!! This is STUNNING! This is used in garments that sell in top boutiques for many hundreds of dollars. Make your own take on their jacket with Vogue V1865 (and use a cross-grain layout for contrast). This will also make a fabulous pair of cigarette pants using Lekala S2001.
A note about Silk Dupioni - I know silk scares a lot of people. But dupioni is probably one of the easiest fabrics to work with. It doesn't slide as much as other types of silk, and you can even wash it! It will lose its luster and soften up considerably if you machine wash and dry it. You must pre-shrink it if you want to throw it in the dryer, but this is a very forgiving fabric, so have fun with it!
