Oh. My. Gracious! This iridescent silk comes from one of New York's top bridal designers! It's got a wonderful crisp hand, and that classic rustle. It has rich blue threads interwoven with black, giving it a depth that is just stunning. I've seen this fabric selling in chi-chi fabric stores for $104/yard. Make a beautiful sheath dress using Lekala Dress With Petal Sleeves. Another wonderful option is Burda 6342 for a skirt you'll wear for ages!

Here's another hint about working with taffeta. To avoid excessive wrinkling (think Princess Diana's crumpled wedding gown), underline it with silk organza. You'll be glad you did!
