French Stretch Silk Muslin - Ivory
Please note: fabrics are sold in HALF YARDS, with a minimum order of 2 half yards (i.e. one yard minimum).
If you know silk, you will understand why I was over the moon to find this fabric! Silk muslin is one of the loveliest fabrics, and it's so difficult to find! With a smooth weave and slightly sheer finish, it's used in couture gowns, and the ultimate wedding veils. It's heaven to work with. This one comes from a designer (*cough*Oscar*cough*) who uses it in both evening and bridal designs. This will look amazing made up with Victory Patterns Trina. It will also work beautifully for a blouse made with Megan Nielsen Dove Blouse. And of course, you can use it for a spectacular wedding look like Marfy S843.
This is slightly sheer, so I recommend lining it with self-fabric, batiste, or habotai.
