Oh my goodness! I had a brocade very much like this about 7 years ago or so. That one had a large print of birds, and a spongy texture and brilliant hand, I've been hoping ever since to get my hands on another like it, and I just did! Like that one, this comes from 0scar, where it's used in garments that sell for many thousands of dollars. While it's not technically reversible, the reverse is fabulous. This is a once in a decade opportunity, and I only have a small amount, so don't miss it.
I would make this into a coat or a jacket, and I would definitely let the "wrong side" show, because it is beautiful.
