Avenue Mont@igne Herringbone Stretch Cotton - Grays

This is a lovely, stretchy cotton twill from Italy, by way of Avenue Montaigne, who uses it in trousers and jackets that sell in high end boutiques and stores. It will be an absolute go-to in your closet. It has a herringbone weave that is different on both sides - one is slightly darker than the other. It gives you great opportunity for contrast or color blocking. Make a great pair of pants, a skirt, or a jacket.

The stretch runs from selvage to selvage, as does the herringbone, so use a crosswise grain layout to take advantage (and have the stripes run vertically).
