Non-Toxic Iron Cleaner

I found the purple squirrel!!! I have been testing this fantastic iron cleaner in my own sewing room, and we used it during a class and everyone loved it. This plant-based hot-iron cleaner removes gunk, scorch marks, glue, residue and build-up quickly and efficiently. And unlike the other commercial iron cleaner, it doesn't set off the smoke alarms or give off toxic fumes. 

To use:

• Preheat the iron on low heat, then turn it off and unplug it
• Apply the cleaner to the warm soleplate in a circular motion and wait about 10 seconds
• Wipe away residue with a damp cloth; use a soft brush for steam holes if needed
• For steam irons, activate steam to flush remaining residue, then let the soleplate dry completely

Also, I recommend putting a rag or paper towel under your iron while applying.
